Earlier this year, the EU Commission updated its list of substances with harmonised classification and labelling. Businesses working with the chemicals added need to ensure they are labelled correctly from 1st May 2026. Commenting on the updates to the list, Giuseppe Fiorello CChem, MRSC, MSc., our Business Development and Chemical Regulatory Manager, said: “The ECHA’s Committee for Risk Assessment continuously reviews and updates the list of substances with harmonised classification and labelling. "If you’re unsure whether the products you handle are on that list, check out their website or give our sales team a call.
